SOUL+LAND is holding open auditions for our holiday Grinch performer.
We’re looking for someone fun, energetic, animated, and comfortable interacting with the community. This performer may be featured at SOUL+LAND holiday events, photo opportunities, and special appearances throughout the season.

- Friday, October 23rd
- 8:00 PM
- 162 N. Glassell St., Orange, CA
- Must be 18+
- Open to everyone
- No costume needed
- Free to audition
Come ready to show us your personality, movement, improv skills, and your best Grinch attitude.
WIN $100
One audition participant will win $100 plus a paid role for holiday events and community events.
Registration is free, but please RSVP so we know you’re coming.

Do I need a reservation?
Nah. Walk-ins are welcome. But if you're rolling up with 17 cousins, a golden retriever, and birthday balloons... maybe reserve first. Make RESERVATIONS HERE
Can I just walk in?
Yep. If we've got a seat, it's yours. No secret password required.
How long does this take?
Most people hang out for about 2 hours. Some finish in 90 minutes. Some discover their inner Picasso and forget what time it is.
Can kids come?
Absolutely. Kids are naturally creative. Adults usually need about 15 minutes to stop apologizing for their artwork.
Can I bring food?
Yes. Bring snacks. Bring cake. Just don't bring a hibachi grill. We've talked about this.
What happens after I paint pottery?
We glaze it. We fire it in a kiln hotter than your ex's text messages. It'll be ready in about 10-15 days.
Do you host private parties?
Yep. Birthdays. Date nights. Corporate team building. Bridal showers. Basically any excuse to avoid another boring restaurant.
Will I get paint on my clothes?
Maybe. We provide aprons. Wear something you'd survive a tiny paint battle in.
Is there a wrong way to paint?
Only if you lick the brush. Please don't lick the brush.
What if I'm not creative?
Good news!!! you already are. The only thing standing between you and your masterpiece is approximately 17 minutes of overthinking.
